Janeane Garofalo: "Herman Cain is probably well liked by some of the Republicans because it hides the racist elements of the Republican party. Conservative movement and tea party movement, one in the same.
"People like Karl Rove liked to keep the racism very covert. And so Herman Cain provides this great opportunity say you can say 'Look, this is not a racist, anti-immigrant, anti-female, anti-gay movement. Look we have a black man.'"
Well, I stand corrected. I guess no matter what I do, I'm still a secret racist. I apologize to Herman Cain, Alan Keyes, Alan West, Condi Rice, Larry Elder, J.C. Watts, Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Glenn Lowry, Shelby Steele, Robert Woodson, Joseph Perkins, Anne Worthem, Eileen Gardener, Claudia Butts, Joe Clark, James Merideth, Roy Innis, Rev. James Bevel...oh my, it looks like I've been racistly admiring all these conservative Uncle Tom's. If only some of these educated and successful black conservatives just did anything for their own communities instead of serving Whitey...right Janeane?
Well, instead of adding to your reputation as an elitist, pugnacious and irascible ninny; perhaps you can do the world a favor and stop doing interviews when you have no idea what you are talking about. In short, Karl Rove supports Mitt Romney, the typical centrist "Republican" with no new ideas, and the same baggage of political venality that has taken over both the D and R parties. If you did anything other than skimming the talking points of this administration's impetuous attempts at retaining power, you could actually find out why so many people are supporting Mr Cain. I'll give you a hint. It has something to do with the content of his character, not the color of his skin. Me thinks the lady doth protest too much? Open wide Janeane, and choke on that idea for a while.

Gridlock...and what it means
gridlock [ˈgrɪdˌlɒk] Chiefly US
n
1. (Engineering / Automotive Engineering) obstruction of urban traffic caused by queues of vehicles forming across junctions and causing further queues to form in the intersecting streets
2. a point in a dispute at which no agreement can be reached; deadlock political gridlock
Peter Orszag, former member of the Obama Budget team, says that the US should rely more on super committees to do what congress has not done due to gridlock. What about questioning whether or not it was APPROPRIATE to do what was being argued about in Congress? That won't happen, so now what? Well, Bev Perdue, the Democratic Governor of North Carolina thinks that Congress isn't acting on passing Obama's legislative plan like Nancy and Harry did in the past due to fear of losing their jobs...so she thinks we should suspend elections until all Obama's bills are passed. I'm assuming she wants to be invited to the coronation. Hey Bev, maybe we don't want Congress doing anything until after more of the guilty are voted out. Or, maybe it's taking so much longer to get things done because Congress is READING the bills before voting on them. I can't wait for your next election Bev. Don't forget, "Elections have consequences"...I think Obama said that.

Call a Spade a Spade
Just in case there are any froward Diotrephes in the audience, let's say, "call a Skapheion a Spade"...better? Good.
My heroes have always been individuals with uncanny self confidence, however, their confidence isn't from ego. Rather, it was because they were doing what was right. My high school football coach said, "do your job full speed, and trust your teammates to do theirs." Well, I think our "teammates" in the US are taking a few plays off here. I loathe those who want to punish the ones going full speed in order to give the half-assers time to catch up. You don't win that way, nobody does. Especially when there is no incentive for those slackers to catch up.
The reasons I detest Obama are the same reasons I detest Maxine Waters, Barny Frank, Pelosi, Reid and the whole group behind the ethos that we all "deserve..." fill in the blank. It doesn't matter what it is, food stamps, unemployment, rent subsidies, medical care, etc. The rational for "deserving" doesn't take into consideration from where/whom do these rights come. God? Constitution? Middle America who works 60 hr/weeks forgoing vacations and a new car in order to pay their taxes? Hey Maxine, you can tell me to go to hell, but will you tax me for using the road you paved there with all your good intentions?
I want all the Tea Party "racists" to read Larry Elder, Herman Cain, Deroy Murdoch, Alan Keyes...But MOST importantly, read Gerren Keith Gaynor. He calls Herman Cain a "political coon" for not blindly following the black man's duty to sit in the back of the liberal bus. Black unemployment is out of control, and instead of telling these people to "pull up their pants, dress like you aren't a thug, speak like you know English, and work like it is the only way you are going to eat today"...you tell a successful man from your alma mater that he is a house nigger. Shame on you Gerren, you are a biggot and a hypocrite...and that's calling a spade a spade.

Department of Edukashun
Can you name the top 3 priorities our schools have in this country? A better question is, “Is one of them ‘educate’”? Washington’s big hearted, ivy- league educated, braintrust has decided that the objective of schooling is to feed, psycho-analyze, babysit and politically indoctrinate the youth of America. There are programs for what nutrition requirements, regardless of parental involvement; afterschool daycare, psychological counseling etc, in lieu of educating…but why? Is it because our public school teachers are so very adept at all these endeavors? Almost 50% of teachers quit within 5 years, so perhaps they aren’t. What about the argument that the kids “need” this to be the very best they can be in society? The numbers don’t add up…as most of the public school students on all these programs don’t end up running Apple or Morgan Stanley. Could it be that parents don’t feel a need to rear their progeny because the government has said they know what’s best? The same people in Washington know what’s best for inner city NY or California kids, as well as farm raised North Dakota kids. Wow. I think Napoleon would call that “hubris”.
We have a problem. Clearly. What do we do? Keep going along the failed approach, or reach back to the old methods that worked for my generation, but more importantly, the generations before us. Can it really be that simple?
1) Schools teach. Math, not fairness or global warming. English, not how America hates immigrants. Starting to see my point?
2) Teachers teach. This is not a movie, teachers are not warriors to step in the middle of fights, or reach the inner child who never got to express their rage over not enough breast feeding. They are the givers of knowledge and the good ones teach critical thinking.
3) Students learn. They get taught, they take tests, they get graded on their ability to cognitively progress. If one student is retarded, then they should be pulled out of the class instead of slowing down the whole class. This goes for disruptive students too. ADD is not an excuse to be an asshole.
4) Dean/Principle can discipline. Everything from expulsion to lecturing…but the kid must know that doing wrong, has consequences. This stuff is so radical isn’t it?
5) Follow through with punishments. Why do we think that all kids are good, or even salvageable? Some kids are just assholes. It probably means their parents were assholes, but not always. Kick them out, introduce them to remedial schools, taught by prison guards. It’s a good way to get them prepared for prison. One bad child shouldn’t be able to sabotage the rest of the class. If a lawyer or douchebag with a PHD wants to disagree, that’s fine…they can be the first to teach a class of 35 asshole kids. Hell, we can even arm the kids…to let the lawyer and PHD blowhard get a REALISTIC look at what these kids are capable of.
6) Most important of all. Stop underestimating these kids. They are fooling us. They can organize flash mobs, they can work the system to get what they want. They fool their parents, and some adults that it is a chemical imbalance. Kids are not stupid, even the ones that can’t spell. They know how to manipulate, they know how many grams in an ounce, they know how to beat the rules. We treat them like lambs that are misguided. I am pretty sure that a good swat on the butt will get many of these undisciplined kids to get back in line.
The main issue is the federal government’s inability to focus on the individual student, so they blanket the whole system with idiotic remedies that don’t work, but make them feel good about trying. Shut down the department of Education. Close it. Sell its assets. Fire it’s administrators who are overpaid anyways. Give the states the power to rein in the chaos. Some states will succeed, and some will let it go as is…but at least we will know which methods work, and which don’t…because right now, none of the methods from Washington are working.

What would Piggy say?
We all know piggy had "assmar", and he was mocked incessantly for being a fat kid with glasses and asthma, and rightly so...I'd go so far as to say he had it coming to him. But that's not here nor there, well, it's there, but whatever, the point is, the EPA is banning Asthma inhalers...well, not ALL inhalers...just the over the counter non prescription kind. You can still pay money to see a doctor, get a referral to see a specialist, then pay for that, because he needs to now write a prescription for an albuterol inhaler...which is anywhere from 2 to 3 times the price. All because some whack-job scientist in antarctic can see a hole in the sky. If there is a god (no, there isn't); but for insults' sake, I hope he lets the sky fall on that scientist. At least, that's what I think Piggy would say.

How a bill becomes a law...
I remember grammar school pretty well, it was well before I started my "drug and alcohol regimen to keep my mind limber" (thanks Dude). So there's this little animated "bill", and it has to get voted on by both House and Senate, then the president signs it, and it becomes law. OK, here's where it gets fun. House of Representatives votes on a bill that funds FEMA, and cuts loan guarantees to the tune of $100 million from corporations (some call it corporate welfare...right Michael Moore?) to pay for it. Bill goes to the Senate where the Leader says "it is dead on arrival". Now the question is, who cares? I heard a great quote today, "'Sympathy' is found between 'shit' and 'syphilis'"...I'm assuming from a dictionary. This gov't of ours (NOT JUST OBAMA) has been sending disability checks to dead people for years...$600 Million...why not just cut the budget by 10%, tell each department to make due. If they can't do the job with a cut budget, fire them and find someone that can. simple.
Oct. 01 we will all be saved
Congratulations Las Vegas. You've finally fixed the woes of our community. It will finally be illegal to have your cellphone in your hands while driving. Of course, it's still legal to eat, smoke, drink (non alcoholic), beat your kids, change CD's, look for a lighter, reach for change under the seat, put on makeup, shave, read, put contacts in...and until all of these things are verboten, we cannot say we are safe. I kinda want to see how many people would gather in front of the police station and disobey this law...just drive by over and over on the phones...dozens of people...it would tie up the cops from doing their real job...and make a point.

Speaking the language
Hey mitt, does issuing a waiver to all 50 states mean the same as repealing it? Or can the next executive order reinstate it? Maybe, for ten minutes or so, you can stop being an asshole. Just a thought.
What does the UN do?
List of active operations in 2011/12:
§
MINURSO: UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara
§
MINUSTAH: UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti
§
MONUSCO: UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
§
UNAMID: AU-UN Hybrid Operation in Darfur
§
UNDOF: UN Disengagement Observer Force
§
UNFICYP: UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus
§
UNIFIL: UN Interim Force in Lebanon
§
UNMIK: UN Interim Administration in Kosovo
§
UNMIL: UN Mission in Liberia
§
UNMIS: UN Mission in the Sudan
§
UNMIT: UN Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste
§
UNOCI: UN Operation in Côte d’Ivoire
§ Support of the African Union Mission in Somalia
$7.1 Billion. Peacekeeping troops in the last ten years went from 38,100 to 108,000. Are we a safer world?
Solution? Fuck 'em...that's what. Why keep throwing money away, when we can't win? Let China help them. Let Iran feed them. Let the world live for a while without us to kick around.
Debate Questions...and let the stupid start flowing.
OK, google and Fox want questions for the debaters. I got a few, but when I submit them, they get erased. Let's see why.
Question #1 How do I justify voting for a candidate that is a fervent supporter of smaller gov't, unless it goes against what they believe...ie abortion, homo marriages, mandatory vaccinations for 12 yr olds, mandating health insurance purchases, teaching creationism in schools or excluding the teaching of evolution? Defend your hypocracy now please.
Question #2 Thomas Jefferson's Kentucky Resolutions http://www.constitution.org/cons/kent1798.htm
were a means of uniting the states against the Fed gov'ts Alien and Seditions act... Why aren't states doing this against Obamacare? Why are they fighting in courts that are stocked with activist judges who deam to legislate from the bench? What is wrong with a little State's Revolt?

The Parties of obstruction
Who is to blame for a government shutdown?
Republicans? Because they control the House, which is where the purse strings are all tied to?
Democrats? Because they haven't passed a budget since April 2009?
The President for...well, whatever he's done?
no. It isn't any one of them. It's you. It's anyone who puts politics ahead of ideals. I know, easy answer...but think about it. Did you vote "against another candidate" or "for the guy with the 'D' or 'R'"? If so, you allowed this all to happen.
Trust me, Romney and Perry aren't going to end this bickering. They'll trumpet the call for their donors, assign old drinking buddies as ambassadors, and in the end, we'll still be funding the UN, in three wars, broke and fighting over who is to "eat their peas" and who "pays their fair share". It's kinda funny, if it weren't so damn stupid. What would it take to get enough people together to overturn the status quo? Ross Perot? How far we've come in twenty years.

Presidential...a definition?
The number one issue I hear that discounts Ron Paul is this, "He's not 'presidential'". So let's define "Presidential".
The dictionary says "Act of being president" but what is that?
Getting a BJ in the office by an intern is presidential?
Funneling money to your supporters through guaranteed loans is presidential?
Attacking a country and destroying it's leadership, then fumbling around for 10 years waiting for them to be more like us is presidential?
Giving money to Palestinians and weapons to Israel and waiting for peace is presidential?
Spending over $1 Trillion dollars on never seen infrastructure projects, schools, and other pet projects...only to ask for more because you want to save jobs is presidential?
What is presidential? 6 ft tall? Fluid speaker/reader? Good Looking?
So here it is, your chance to define presidential WITHOUT using hypocritical arguments...like, "he supports equality for all",and then say they support affirmative action, hate crime legislation, sliding tax rate scales...etc, I'm gonna get ya.

Redstate? Bluestate?...what about Whitestate?
Many years ago, I was having a Jameson with an Irishman from the South of Ireland. He asked me if I knew how the Irish flag got it's shape/colors. I didn't...so he enlightened me. The Orange stripe represents the Protestant Religion/Ulsters. The Green is the color of the Catholics in Ireland. The White stripe in the middle represents peace. Peace between two groups so similar...but hung up on specific details that shouldn't cause Ireland so much trouble, yet has led to so much fighting, fraud and death. Sound familiar? Red, White and Blue. This is the blog for the White State...hoping to end the debate between blue and red that has done nothing but drive a wedge through our country. I don't care if you're a Union boss or a Tea Party member...I pride myself on being LOGICAL. Leave your emotions at the door, this is a discussion of issues in a serious manner, however, because I am a sarcastic bastard with a huge vocabulary, I will leave you laughing or crying if you try to be illogical and spout talking points.
