Blame game?

Bastiat raises a point in his "The Law" which i cannot stress enough. We, as a country, have given the government control of banking, allowed a war on drugs, a war on poverty, a mandate to educate our kids, and control of our health...so is it fair to demand accountability? If the private marketplace is held accountable, we have recourse...i dont like fat free salad dressings, i choose the real thing...but when the federal government controls anything, we cannot go anywhere to avoid it. That, regardless of all the hyperbole, is the definition of a marxist or socialist state. So when the federal government is an abject failure...we still have poverty, we arm the cartels bringing drugs into our country, our kids are morons...yes they are...and now we have to submit to the whims of a government who is willing to have thousands of gestapo...i mean IRS agents enforcing obamacare...when do we play the blame game? How about november, this year. Whoever wins the royal throne in washington can get my support by doing one thing. Give me liberty, let me be responsible for whether i do a drug. Let me worry about how hard i must work to make ends meet. Allow me to choose what school to give money to, and let banks fight it out for my savings dollars. The federal government has taken my liberty, my choices, and my responsibilities....and they have failed to accomplish their goals...so HELL YES i blame them. I want my inalienable rights back, and i'm getting tired of asking nicely. Oh, and Debbie wuzzaman Schultz, you ain't seen a lack of civility yet. Keep spinning your yard of BS, and at your doorstep will be the responsibility for the lack of civility. With power comes responsibility, and you have too much of the former, and none of the latter.
